Bender's Walks

Mr. TelephoneHead loves his walks, but with the icky weather, and the storm that ripped through here recently, it's been hard to get outta the house for a proper walking.




Since he's a larger dog, he requires longer walks. Just think, dogs lucky enough to live in rural areas or on farms, get two times the daily outdoors fun time that he gets, and I feel so guilty about that sometimes.



Seriously, look at that face. How can you not take that adorable young gentleman for a walk, even in rainy, slippery, or wintery conditions?

Luckily, he recently made a "long-distance due to barrier" friend. We'll make sure we stop near this adorable guy's backyard and say "Hi" every now and then:



I love medium to larger size dogs, they are extremely loyal, and super happy. I'm both lucky and frustrated, cus I got a mostly smart four-legged genius, but smart dogs and large dogs require more time out of your day, both in care, and just excercise. Bender requires just as much, if not more exercise than a human, and there's no Diet soda or "Fat Burning" pills for dogs. That, and well, Bender doesn't sit in front a computer all day, nor does he work as an accountant, his fulfillment in life is playing fetch in a reasonably sized suburban backyard, and walks.

We'll be starting back up with our walk routine again this week, and hopefully more adventures.
