Getting the Word out about your Brand: TweetDeck

Years and years ago, when folks starting going "Forget this junk, I'm gonna go out on my own and become an independent " it was difficult to get your name out there and get that visibility in the community...

Business cards, advertising, marketing were all expensive. Heck, I even did a video on making your own business cards on the cheap (it's a bit outdated):

These days, it's sooo much easier to get the word out. Social Media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (the big players) have many tools allowing you to regularly advertise and promote your brand.

Twitter is awesome. I know a lot of folks despise Twitter, but it really is a great way to get cold leads and network with a potential group of folks that you would miss through traditional marketing.

One issue businesses and brands struggle with on Twitter is having a regular presence. Even I have my dry spells, but there are tools out there to help with that!

Tweetdeck is an awesome platform that allows you to Schedule Content, Manage User Engagement, and Launch Campaigns (ideas, sales announcements, etc...). So, even though I may not be on Twitter every single day, I've got tweets going out regularly.

It's a pretty self-explanatory platform, it's just a Social Media secret that most folks don't know about!

You can schedule content out for weeks, months in advance. Do you plan on doing a 4th of July sale? Schedule the tweet now!

Click the "Feather" icon to the right of Tweetdeck. From here you can write a Tweet and post it right away....

Or click the "Schedule" icon, which will then give you options on when you would like the tweet to come out:

All of your scheduled content will appear in the "Scheduled Tweets" field.

If you've made a mistake, you can click the EDIT button (the "pencil") or you can trash the whole tweet by clicking on the DELETE icon.
