My White Wednesday - Goodbye Summer

Goodbye Summer, It's sad to see the Sun Fade away:

In Virginia, we only have a few more Warm & Sunny days left 'till Fall comes in Full Sweep, bringing with it Rain and Cold, and Chills.

So Goodbye Summer, so sad to see ya go.  It's time to pack away the memories...

Of Summery Whites and Greens, and Lush Foliage.

Pack away the Airy Summer Knitting, & Dreamy Butterflies.

Time to store my Summer Linens,

And Curious Thrift Shop finds.

Time to break out the Cowboy boots, and dream of Warmer Days.

Shared on, and much appreciative of, White Wednesday on Faded Charm

PS: I wanna say thank you so much for all my new visitors and readers!  I love that people are taking an interest in my stuff, and don't be shy!  I can't respond to every comment, but I'll certainly try.  Feel free to send me a message, or hey, check me out on Facebook.

Like the use of your boots and jacket in the display, I had all my winter boots out on display over winter, its spring here now so I have packed them all way now!
Oh no!! how sad....I try not to think about it, but can definitely feel it, specially in the morning... :(

We had a cold front come through and the cooler days are back, but we so need the rain. Seasons change in the blink of an eye and summer will come again soon enough.
Love your post.

Awe, thanks guys so much for your great comments! I love early summer, when it's not so terribly humid in my area that you can't breathe. There's always these momentary transitional seasons in Virginia, like right before Autumn, that are wonderful. And although these are the days I should be changing out linens and getting ready for the next season, I find myself going outside more, crafting more, and taking more pictures!

Hi Omi! I've been doing some floofing around here, too, in preparation for the colder weather. Our autumn here in Michigan has been picture perfect, but we all know what's around the corner. Ugh!

Love your photos - and your thoughts today. :) Happy WW!
