Errands Day, and Thankful Anxiety.
Tuesday is errands day. I usually run around to go and pick up packing supplies, dash in and out of some of my regular Vintage/Rummage/Thrift shop places, and round it out with the local Post Office to mail off all the great treasures that have found new homes.
This Tuesday, I get to do all that, and a bag of chips. Actually, no, not a bag of chips, because I'm on a diet, and I have to go see the Doctor tomorrow.
I used to love going to the Doc, but this particular Doctor's trip, I'm a little Anxious. Tomorrow we get to check the status of my pre-Diabetes health management, check my weight, and also check to see if I am still suffering from Lyme's Disease (I got bit earlier this Summer picking Raspberries, you know, the pretty ones in my Summer Blog Posts?). Unfortunately, I'm afraid I know the answer to the last one, but I'm crossing my fingers and trying to spread some good Karma out there.
I've packaged up all the Etsy Sales from this weekend, and I even got creative since I ran out of BubbleWrap. This little gem of a necklace was gift wrapped, and also stored with a sturdy little crochet coaster. Not only does it add a little protection to the necklace, but the Turquoise, Coral Red, Pearl, and Olive gift bag all combine to create an incredible Eye-Poppin' Treasure as my wonderful Customer opens her mail. Some Etsy sellers like to add extra gifts and special touches to the items they send. I think if you can combine both, and also turn it into a form of packaging, you can definitely create something special.
I'd like to say "Thanks" to every customer the past few weeks. They really have been making my experience as a new Etsy seller wonderful!
Well, everyone in my house is wishing me well as I wake up early tomorrow for the Doc. Appt... Except BenderOak:
He's too busy messing up my floor and stuffing his face.
Well, it looks like I'll be adding Vacuuming to my Tuesday To-Do List.
