Never Been So Sad to Go Home.

I posted on Facebook the other day how sad I was to have to go home from Black Mountain....It's so wonderful down there, and I enjoy the people down there, even the strangers I meet are interesting, and as the Great Douglas Adams would put it: "Mostly Harmless". Ben, the BF, and the BF's daughter (and the BF's Daughter's Friend) all had a great time. When I go down there, I get so little done, but accomplish so much.

I don't talk much. I'm not quite verbal, and when I am, its either trying to crack a joke, or make some obscure unintelligible rambling to convey what I mean to say. Down there, I can talk, though I mostly listen, even when people aren't talking.

Vacations are great, and vacations visiting a warm, and welcome place that makes you feel comfortable is even better. Bender misbehaved an awful lot on vacation, but also learned some new tricks, and had some new modifications/corrections to his behavior. And he loves-loves his Human-Grandpa, and he Loves his Human-Gramma, when she's trying to eat Bananas....

When we get to go on vacation, we get to go to a place full of new people, and old people for Bender to meet, and play with. There's other dogs too!!! Bender doesn't get a lot of interaction with other dogs, mostly because he's awkward and overly excitable, but when we go to Black Mountain, Ms. Zoe the Mini-Schnauzer is his Ol' School Marm', Mona is the School Tough Guy, and Mr. Fudge Bronco is his buddy. He loves it so so much...

So when we had to leave, he was really, really upset. Here's a Youtube clip done by the BF regarding our trip back.
